A utility Discord bot, born from a simple need: giving my own communities the tools they needed, without relying on several different bots.
The modules
Levels to reward members’ activity, welcome messages for newcomers, and a ticket system for support: a member opens a ticket, and the team answers in a dedicated space.
The tech
In TypeScript with Discord.js and Node.js, data goes through Prisma, and the bot runs in a Docker container. The repository is private for now.
What I took away
- Starting from a real need leads to useful features rather than many features.
